In this three-hour class we will be covering the topic of arranging without limitations.
Whether arranging traditional, contemporary, pop, or original music, the hammered
dulcimer offers endless opportunity for creative choices for players.

We will cover several creative arranging topics:
• Making basic sounding chords more interesting
• Adding rhythmic variation to existing melodies
• Intros, interludes, and transitions
• When to settle and let music breathe
• Making the most of your skill level and instrument size
• Enjoying the process of music making

The cost of Katie’s Pre-Festival Workshop is $45.00. You can pay at the door in cash or check.
